Project Assistant
Irwin IP LLP is an intellectual property litigation firm seeking a full-time Project Assistant to join our Paralegal Department. The Project Assistant is an entry-level position that works under the supervision of the Senior Paralegal and works collaboratively with the Case Assistant to provide administrative support to the Attorney teams. The role is designed to give individuals attending a Paralegal program the experience of working in a law firm and the opportunity to train and develop a career as a paraprofessional.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities consist of a variety of billable and non-billable tasks, including but not limited to file management, document preparation of pleading shell templates, non-legal research projects, preparation of various case binders, and other related projects as assigned.
Required skills:
The qualified candidate will have recent secretarial, administrative, or related work experience; excellent written and oral communication skills; a proactive work ethic; excellent attention to detail; ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities; ability to work well under pressure in a constantly changing environment; flexibility for overtime as needed; ability to successfully work in a team-oriented environment; and strong computer skills, including proficiency with Firm software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) with the ability to learn new software.
