RESPONSIBILITIES

• Discovery requests and responses

• Preparing and enforcing subpoenas

• Preparing motions and pleadings, interacting with the Court and opposing counsel

• Legal research in support of motion practice

• Coordinating depositions, working with attorneys, experts, doctors, witnesses and clients

• Assisting in accident investigations: conducting social media and internet searches, serving FOIAs

• Abstracting deposition transcripts and summarizing medical records

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

• A paralegal degree or certificate is preferred. 2+ years paralegal experience is a plus.

• Timekeeping experience is a preferred. Experience with Smokeball is a plus.

• Excellent writing and communication skills.

• Common sense is required.
