Are you ready to make your next career move to join our Legal team as our Litigation Discovery Paralegal based out of our Americas HQ in Lisle, IL?   
  

 

In this role, you will find yourself:

​Supporting KONE’s claims and litigation defense efforts by serving as the Law Department’s primary contact for conducting thorough investigations of incidents, claims, and litigation allegations. 
Utilizing KONE’s e-discovery and other systems to conduct electronic records searches and to gather potentially responsive documents and records.
Interviewing KONE personnel, property owners, and other relevant parties including outside counsel to assist in analyzing and identifying potentially responsive information to discovery requests and prepares records for production.
Preparing draft responses to discovery requests based on investigation and records search efforts. 
Serving as a point of contact with KONE’s e-discovery vendor in the identification and correction of any technical system issues.

As our Litigation Discovery Paralegal, you will  provide support to the KONE
Americas’ claims and litigation teams by investigating claims, conducting record and electronic record investigations, searches, and record production and related discovery in litigation and claims, all in support of the evaluating
and expediting of claims and litigation processes.
 

You will bring ​2+ years direct experience with a corporate law department or law firm with emphasis in litigation discovery and experience with e-discovery coupled with Paralegal experience required (as well as a Paralegal Certification (in process) preferred.) You will also have working knowledge of the litigation process and experience in the use of technology to support litigation efforts in both traditional litigation support and e-discovery projects. Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, e-discovery and legal hold platforms such as Zapproved, Relativity, or other similar systems is a plus.
