A small River North law firm with a boutique real estate practice is seeking a full-time, well-rounded paralegal who is dedicated to assisting in the firm’s highly reputably and established practice.


The position offers a unique combination of paralegal and marketing/business development tasks. Applicants should possess strong follow-through skills, an eye for detail, and discretion in making decisions so that tasks are timely completed with
accuracy and independence.
• Draft (and file as appropriate) motions and discovery;
• Research of case law;
• Correspond with opposing counsel and clients;
• Perform administrative tasks such as case management and general office organization;
• Assist in shaping and growing the firm’s marketing/business development; and
• Manage social media accounts.


• One to two years experience;
• An associate degree or paralegal certificate;
• Strong writing skills;
• Computer-savvy and ability to quickly learn new software; and
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, QuickBooks, and Excel is a plus, but not required.
