The Law Office of Bryan P. Lynch, a River North law firm, is seeking a full-time, well-rounded Chicago-based paralegal with an associate degree, paralegal certificate, or similar to work in-office and who is dedicated to assisting an attorney with an established real estate litigation practice representing property owners against various government agencies in state and federal court.
The position offers a diverse combination of paralegal, marketing/business development, and administrative tasks. Applicants should possess follow-through, an eye for detail, and discretion in making decisions so that tasks are timely completed with accuracy; independence and the ability to work alone is required.

The paralegal will draft and file appearances and routine motions; draft, as well as answer and reply, discovery; format all exhibits for all filings; assist in the research of relevant case law and municipal codes; proofread various documents; correspond with court personnel, opposing counsel, municipalities, and clients; perform administrative tasks such as case management, clerical tasks, and general office supply maintenance and organization; perform marketing/business development tasks such as sourcing projects affecting private property rights, posting on social media accounts, and maintaining/growing Google My Business account as well as improving upon the overall inbound marketing strategy. Qualified candidates will naturally be generally computer-savvy and able to quickly learn new software as needed. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus, but not required.
