The eDiscovery Specialist assists the Office of General Counsel (“OGC”) Operations and Compliance Managers in implementing data, workflow and OGCs information governance objectives, including matter mobility, implementing legal holds, document review and digital resource management.  Salary is open and position will be remote for remainder of 2021.

Responsibilities
Matter Mobility and Compliance

Collect organize and review client files and assist in matter mobility
Conduct document review in Relativity and related databases and apply appropriate policies to production
Perform IT admin functions on user profiles to search and retrieve information for OGC compliance
OGC Project Assistance

Support OGC on eDiscovery requirement associated with litigation involving the Firm
Assist OGC managers with data management and workflows
Assist OGC in identifying innovations to improve the department’s service to the Firm

Essential Functions:

Provide technical support to the various aspects of the OGC that manage information and data.
Work with OGC team members to assess and support technology needs throughout all stages of the investigation process. Responsible for the advanced technical and project management aspects of discovery, including the stages outlined in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model.
Is familiar with OGC support specific applications such as Relativity, TextMap, CaseMap, Matter Management Workflow, Elegrity and others as well as productivity tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, editing and conversion tools.
Build relational databases using Relativity, TextMap and CaseMap and other applications.
Assists with advanced review workflows, analytics, database searches and with quality control on the data set for production.
Maintain open communication with the OGC team and other members of the firm as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience supporting the OGC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required to resolve complex issues using technology.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Proactive “team player” with the desire to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines is a must.

Education
Required: Bachelor’s Degree

 

Computer/Software Knowledge
Required: Experience with OGC support specific applications such as Relativity, TextMap, CaseMap, and others as well as productivity tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, editing and conversion tools.
