Job Summary
Sterling Bay is seeking to hire an organized, detail-oriented Contract Specialist who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment to manage all stages of a contract in multi-state real estate transactions from pre-closing to post-closing.
Responsibilities
• Assist in drafting, managing, and organizing service contracts, schedules, and exhibits
• Identify areas in contracts that require modification, propose modifications, and effectively negotiate service contracts to reduce risk
• Analyze client response to Rider/Addendum using analytical skills
• Primary point of contact for all service contracts
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience working as a contract specialist
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or a paralegal certificate preferred
• Flexibility to work overtime
• Motivation and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision
• Ability to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Familiarity with iManage a plus
